DIY Electronic injection letter (edition 13)

We hope you like what we have for you this month.

What the signal across the coil looks like from a BIM024 module at idle (800rpm)

Check this out, i put my bitscope on the +ve and earth of the coil to see the ignition pulses, if you click on the image you can see the voltage rising to 13.4v (VP) and you can see the time where there is no current (where it has just discharged) at 24ms (TM) i think the spike around there is the coil itself letting go thru the high-tension line sending out some EMI
This is from my '79 chrysler valiant CM GLX at around 800rpm, it's a 265ci 6 cylinder

The current SVN now contains a directory called 'proof-of-concept' this contains the code to my avr's Atmega32 that reads the standard GM 3 pin 1 Bar MAP sensor and modifies the PWM duration.
Where to from here ?
- Create an interpolation table lookup
- Trigger the PWM from an external event

Thanks, DIY Electronic Fuel Injection team.
